Tuesday Tutorial – Constellation Lacing Cards

For this month’s Whisker Graphics Design Team submission, I went a little old school. As a kid, I was obsessed with Greek mythology and origin fables. My faves were stories about people and animals who became constellations.

Vintage Revivals created sweet constellation string art lacing card downloads for the Cricut Explore.  Except I don’t have a Cricut Explore.  And I’m sure some of you don’t either.

But I really loved the idea, since they would make an adorable banner for a star-themed party.

So that’s what I did…

…I created my own version and made it a free download for you to have some constellation fun of your own!  I threaded mine with Solid navy and Solid yellow Divine Twine and hung it on Solid bright white.

Here’s a larger version that you can open in another tab and use as a threading guide.

Of course, if I made a banner, there must be a party to go with it! Stay tuned…
