Tuesday Trend – Popcorn Bars, Oscars Edition
The 2015 Academy Awards are this Sunday and if you have decided to put together a last-minute viewing party, a popcorn bar is a great way to add glitz and glam without a lot of stress. ย Here are a few fabulous ideas, feel free to pick and choose what works for your time, space and budget.
Targetย makes it easy by creating an area for guests DIY their own cocktails and serve up popcorn in Spritz party hats.
For our Wreck It Ralph viewing party, I created a simple bar by covering a card table, ย and created an easy marquee sign backdrop with a foamcore board.
Alexandra Hedin shows how to party it up with ease and style with her popcorn partyย and aย easy party decor trick, lots of balloons.
I loveย Kristi Murphy’s set up in beautiful apothecary jars and rounded out her spread with cupcakes; pick up them up from your favorite bakery if you don’t have time to make them.
A gorgeous display from Loralee Lewis; I love how she used shakers of flavors and various candies so guests could customize their popcorn.
Keep it simple and download Britย + Co’s classic popcorn bucket wrap.
If you don’t have the space or time for a full bar, download and use Twig & Thistle’sย popcorn boxes. Bag them up and set on a pretty tray or side table for easy access.
