The witching hour is almost nigh…Halloween will be here before you know it! ย I’m always looking for new ways to use my existing party decor and incorporate a few new pieces for a whole new look. ย With some help from Oriental Trading, I did just that! It’s easy to find lots of great inspiration to create a spooky chic Halloween table, perfect for a ghoulish dinner with friends.

You can never go wrong with a classic black and white palette with a few pops of color…

Spooky Chic Halloween table; wide viw

You can never go wrong with mood-settingย candlelight. ย I love a candlelit table and I’ve been collecting holders for tealights to pillars for a while. ย My tip, purchase items after the holiday when they are marked down.

Animal skeletons are hot this season and I had plans to glitter this great cat skeleton. ย But then, again, I felt it would make it too pretty. ย It is a skeleton after all, so I left it unfinished. Tucking in a few dark flowers like blood red roses or hydrangeas are a great way to add texture and a soft contrast.

Spooky Chic Halloween table; mask

At each place setting, welcome your unfortunate souls to join in on the fun with sequined masks. ย They are going to look fabulous when everyone is wearing them in a group photo!

Make your deadly dinner intentions known with a chalkboard tombstone menu!

Spooky Chic Halloween table; glass

Sadly, my spooky glasses are no longer available, but I’m sure you can duplicate the look with vinyl and an image cutter like Cricut.

Spooky Chic Halloween table; cocktail

Lollipops make great drink stirrers for cocktails like the Black Cat, servedย in my favorite coupe glasses.

From creepy crawlies to vintage bottles, tombstones and potion bottles, it only takes a few items to turn your table into a perfectly spooky scene!
