My Punny Valentine Cookies and Treat Box

This is a sponsored post; payment, trade, and/or products have been received in exchange for promotion for Make Bake.  As always, all opinions are my own.

Valentine’s Day is coming up fast; although most of us will be spending it at home, you can still make it fun! With Make Bake’s latest collection of edible stickers, Your Love Is Sweet & Salty Stickies®, and my free printable, you can dress up cookies for your special someone and add them to a treat box.

You know I can’t resist a good pun…so I present My Punny Valentine Cookies + Treat Box!

First, let’s talk cookies! Last year, I used Make Bake’s P.S. I Love You Valentine’s Stickies® for my Galentine’s Day brunch cake. They are one of my favorite (and easiest!) way to dress up just about any sweets. And yes, why wouldn’t you serve cake at brunch?

The new collection inspired me to bake sugar cookies to match all the cute puntastic stickers.

Making shaped cookies have never been my thing. Until Jenny Cookies’ sugar cookie recipe. When she says that it is a no-fail recipe, I can personally say, it is a no-fail recipe. Along with her buttercream frosting, you are already halfway to cookie magic.

My Punny Valentine Cookies; cookie templates

I rolled my dough out to a ¼-inch thickness as recommended. Then, I used a 2 ½-inch round cookie cutter for the waffle and doughnut Stickies®  and a 3-inch round cookie cutter for the taco Stickie®, cutting the dough circle in half.

I created a cookie template so everyone can join in on the fun; a cone shape for the ice-cream, a wedge for the pizza, and a pretzel shape for…the pretzel. Don’t worry, if you don’t have the round cookie cutters, I added them to the cookie template as well.

Just click on the photo below to download and print on regular paper or cardstock.  Be sure and keep your printer’s page size settings to ‘Actual Size’.

Frost your cookies, then add a Stickie® and sprinkles to finish the look.

After that, it’s time to add your cookies to a divided acrylic box (The Container Store is my favorite spot to find a variety of sizes and styles) with other sweetness.

How fun would this be for a Valentine’s Day movie-watching night?

Have fun with My Punny Valentine cookies and treat box

Just because it’s a night in, doesn’t mean it can’t be special! Imagine all the crowds, overpriced meals and flowers you are going to avoid this year, she says optimistically….

I hope you have been inspired by My Punny Valentine cookies and treat box for a little sweet fun this holiday.
