Tuesday Tip/Real Party – Love Is In The Air Valentine Table

It’s all about football and Valentine’s Day around these parts, isn’t it? We are flipping back to hearts and love for this week’s Tuesday Tip with this month’s Design Team project for Whisker Graphics; a Love Is In The Air party table.  Setting up a special table for the kids or your significant other doesn’t take a lot of time or money.

The theme was inspired by one of my favorite washi tapes from Cute Tape, it’s so fun and playful.  I filled cello bags with SweetWorks Sixlets and Pearls.

Dressing up drink bottles is one of my favorite party tricks, they now do double duty as fun centerpieces!  I wrapped coordinating soda bottles in cardstock and added an origami heart and paper straw! So easy, right?  Yup, those same ones you used to fold notes and pass in class.

If you don’t remember how to fold them, just Google ‘origami hearts’ and a plethora of websites will give you upteenth options and variations.  The easiest one I found is from Bloomize.  I trimmed various Middy Bitty Bags to 5″ square and folded the bags according to the origami heart directions.

Macarons get even cuter with flags I made stamping onto cardstock.

Yes, those are limited edition Red Velvet Hostess cupcakes. The toppers were super easy to make with a cloud punch and a few heart sprinkles.

Hey, did you notice that all the treats were store bought?  Of course, if you have skills, you can make your own macarons and cupcakes but you don’t have to! It’s all about making your loved ones feel special for Valentine’s Day.
