Bright + Colorful New Year’s Eve Party Inspiration Board
Christmas is over and now it is time to get ready to party like it’s 1999! Â Once we became parents, going out to New Year’s Eve parties became a non-issue…we didn’t go out. Â Babysitters were exorbitant if existent and rushing home before the crazy hit the streets, not exactly exciting.
So, we’ve made it a tradition to host our own parties, both on our own and with other families. Â This year, we’ll be having our own bright and colorful New Year’s Eve Party; here’s my inspiration board I put together to get the creative juices flowing…
Our color palette is inspired by this pretty paper I found at a local scrapbook store from Simple Stories…I’ll be using the various patterns as party decor elements.
I’m all about fabulous and affordable party decor; check out this fun DIY with Martha Stewart.
Lots of honeycomb tissue decor is the name of our game; Selina Lake’s amazing styling for Talking Tables is so fun and my style.
Tassels and disco balls are the jam…Glitter Inc. shares the fabulous Geronimo Balloons’ styling techniques.
I love By Gabriella’s great tips on putting together a fabulous holiday party in an hour.  I’m loving her holiday spread…
Sweetapolita’s glam rock cake is so fabulous and party ready…although I’m not sure about all that black frosting!
Doughnuts are a must at our party…I’m comin’ for ya, Krispy Kremes! Â It will be fun to jazz them up like these from The House That Lars Built.
I have lots of plastic top hats…perhaps I should style them with coordinated ribbon like these featured on Style Me Pretty from Kristin Vining Photography.
The Alison Show always knows how to party…I love her easy to DIY oversized candy decor.
