Navy, Gold + Silver New Year’s Eve Party
Can you believe 2017 is almost over? If you are hosting a New Year’s Eve party, check out my take in navy, gold and silver! It all started with Target’s navy and gold star wrapping paper that I used as a table cover.ย It seemed to be the perfect start to layering a fun table with a sparkly twist!

I broke out every bit of sparkly goodness I have…my disco ball obsession is really paying off!ย With a few new navy finds like constellation coasters and tealight holders, it was easy to pull it all together!

- Want to create an awesome backdrop to your table or photo area? I’m not a big balloon fan, but for New Year’s Eve, I can make an exception!ย Hit up your local dollar store for basic mylar balloons like round and star shapes versus a party store and save some money.
- Stretch your party decor budget and mix in reusable party decor in like garlands, tissue fans and paper rosettes.
- Pick up inexpensive clocks from local thrift stores.

- The secret to an awesome tabletop is layers, layers, layers! From the wrapping paper, to sequined runner, disco balls, tinsel garland, it is important to keep building up on your foundation.
- Secret number two, variety!ย Reflective and smooth surfaces, rough edges and more help to make our table visually interesting.ย Don’t be afraid to mix and match your pieces.

- Keep your menu simple with easy nibbles…hit your favorite spot for takeout or desserts.ย Did you know Party City carries flavored popcorn in various colors? I discovered this and the game has changed…
- Make or pick up plain cupcakes and dress up with gold and silver candies. Mine are from a kit but you can make easy party hats with coordinating paper and hot glue a pom to the top.
- Everyone needs disco ball tumblers in their lives…
- These constellation glass coasters were a serious steal from Target…and so were the glass tealight holders.
- Invite guests to get festive with gold crowns and disco ball headbands! I found them both at…Target again.ย I added tinsel to the headbands for extra sparkle.
Happy New Year to all and I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store!
