Tuesday Tutorial (On A Monday) – Colorful Easter Paper Baskets
Since my Easter Sweetworks giveaway starts tomorrow, I thought I’d share Tuesday Tutorial today and plus I couldn’t wait to share. There is just not enough time in one lifetime to create all of the amazing crafts I see on a daily basis. But this one is so cute, quick and easy I couldn’t resist.
If you don’t who Amber and her amazing craft blog Damask Love is…you need to fix that. ย Yes, I have a blog crush because her crafts are do-able and her directions are clear and easy to read. ย Seriously…she made ‘leather’ coasters out of polymer clay.
So, when she posted her simplest gift box tutorialย , I said to myself ย ‘Self, we have a scoring board and the paper, we can do this’. ย Then, when I scored a couple of bags of ombre Easter eggs from Target, the pieces fell into place. ย I could make colorful Easter paper baskets.
So I did! I used this great 6 X 6 pad of double sided cardstock pad I found at Michael’s. Don’t mind the hole, it won’t show for this project…but seriously, how are you gonna put a hole through?
I made an easy handle with a 3/4″ strip of cardstock attached with brads. ย Pretty right?
These would look perfect at an Easter placesetting; add a fun little tag and it does double duty as a place card.
Get thee hence to your paper stash and whip a few up!

I love what you did with the box tutorial! This rainbow of baskets is adorable.
Too cute and I have way too much paper stashed away not to try this!
Thanks so much! I hope I did you proud ๐
