Fiesta Friday/Real Party – Easy Super Bowl Party Ideas

Super Bowl XLIX is coming up fast and we can’t wait to cheer on our Seattle Seahawks to their second win! Monday,  I shared a fabulous party spread and today I’m sharing how I tweaked the same spread for easy entertaining using fun products from Oriental Trading.

• Our chili bar features football chili bowls that hold a hefty amount of food and leaves plenty of room for the fixings.  They are very durable, no leaking here!  They are also perfect as nacho and ice cream bowls.
• Yes, I used a mini Bundt pan to bake my cornbread Bundts…you can make them in muffin tins too.
• Trophies are a must…these are fun and perfect for filling with candies, nuts and other treats.  Guests can take them home at the end of the game.
• Mimosa yellow beverage napkins make perfect penalty ‘flags’ and work for both your bar and food areas.
• Instead of bags of chips and snack food, put them in bowls and let guests serve themselves in brown lunch bags or patterned bags.  I used assorted Middy Bitty Bags from Whisker Graphics in our Seahawks’ colors. 

• These football-shaped dinner plates are so fun and will make your burgers, chicken wings and everything else you are dishing out look fabulous.
• Not all your guests may be beer-drinkers so set up a fun drink station like margaritas or Bloody Marys.  Have fun dressing up your cocktails…used colored sugar for rimmers, white washi tape to mimic football laces and fun striped straws I found at Target.

These easy ideas will make a big impact at your Super Bowl party! Mix and match your favorite ones because your football fans will love them all.
