Tuesday Tip – Review + $100 Giveaway To StickerMule

***THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED!****

Before I launch into today’s musing, Easter is this weekend and if you are in the Seattle area, check out my Today’s Mama post on a few Easter happenings going on!

I think stickers are the most unappreciated item in everyone’s business/party planning arsenal. I love stickers…I simple get 8 1/2″ X 11″ label paper, and run it through my printer to turn anything into a sticker…

…I make them to decorate cups, favor and treat bags, you name it, I’ve probably made a sticker out of it.

Do you have a business? Use them for product packaging…both Trophy Cupcakes and Bake It Pretty  apply large round stickers to plain bags…that’s it!

Or you can apply them directly to your product jar, can or bags, if you make your own scrubs, soaps, etc. Attach oversized labels to promotional items like a bottle of champagne similar to this one from Nico And Lala…send one out with your mailed orders…hand them out on the street…

Planning a large event like a wedding or anniversary party? Great square labels like these from Beau Coup make a simple container like this Chinese take-out box special and is cost-effective!

OK, so the point of my sticker ramble is to excite you about my awesome giveaway from Sticker Mule. Nick contacted me awhile back to try them out and I’m all, yes please!  Hmm…what do I need a ton of stickers for…why Scholastic Book Fair of course! Remember my post? Well, I thought a perfect addition would be to create stickers to pass out to our shoppers.

Using the service was so easy; you choose your sticker shape, ranging from squares and ovals to bumper stickers and die-cuts, then select the size and quantity. From there, you simply upload your artwork.

Scholastic Book Fair Luau Sticker Mule stickers

I ordered 300 2″ X 3″ rectangle stickers (which is business card size, hint, hint…wouldn’t a business card sticker be the coolest?) and uploaded a clip art file I got from the Scholastic website. You can use your own photo, drawing, the works. Once you submit, they get back to you lickety-split with a proof, and let you accept or make changes.  I wanted the image to bleed closer to the edge so I replied back, and within hours, they sent me another proof. No muss, no fuss, and before you know it, with free shipping, it’s winging its way to you.  For someone who needs things surprisingly simple, it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. In fact, too easy, because I was a little nervous as to how they would turn out.

I wasn’t disappointed…these aren’t sticker-paper stickers, they are glossy, high quality stickers that peeled off easily. In fact, they are made from a durable vinyl with an extra thick paper backing to protect against damage, weather resistant, and protected from scratching, rain and sunlight by a premium UV laminate. I can’t say that about my home-made ones. But hey, that’s why the are home-made.

And let me tell you, those stickers were a big hit.  It’s amazing how excited kids get for a free sticker!  So, are you excited about stickers now? Great, because Sticker Mule is graciously offering one of my readers a $100 credit to create your own stickers!! All you have to do is enter below on Rafflecopter!
