Our Seattle Summer Bucket List

Today is the boys’ last day of school and after the annual end-of-year meetup at Dairy Queen, they are all mine! As they get older, our summer bucket lists have changed dramatically. ย Trying to entertain a middle and high schooler who have ‘been there, done that’ in our Seattle area is always a challenge. ย Don’t get me wrong, they are game for anything…but the novelty wears off fast. ย After all, these are kids who knew want ‘fondant’ was when they were in preschool!

Ultimate Seattle Summer Bucket List

I challenged myself to come up with the coolest summer bucket list and explore all that our Seattle area has to offer! Some we’ve done before, but it’s been a long time so it will be a new experience. ย Others are a new discovery….so if you live in the Seattle area, this is great for you too! ย I’m also thinking about doing a doughnut guide (mmm…doughnuts….) but that may have to wait for another summer. ย I’ll bold them in the post if as we get to them…

  1. This is a great list! We started doing something similar for things we want to do each quarter of the year and it’s really fun. And, yes, please do the doughnut list!!

That sounds like fun! We will have to see if we can work it into our schedule! We love B-Town ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. What did you think of the new Pike Place waterfront? I have really been wanting to go but havenโ€™t found the chance. Caliburger is on my list too!! We have made it to a movie in the park while camping in Leavenworth and it was a lot of fun.

It’s a nice area to chill outdoors, overlooking 99 and the water! We loved it, since there isn’t really any areas to take a break while exploring the Market. Several restaurants are coming, not open yet, but they look like great spots to enjoy the views.

What a great idea, thank you!

The Living Computer museum is great! We went to the Columbia Tower and Gasworks park this year. Both are fantastic.

Yes, we still haven’t made it to the Living Computer Museum; and we’ve done the Tower and Gasworks Park!
