Tuesday Tutorial – Bottom-of-the-Box Breakfast Sundae

Bottom of the box breakfast sundaeWe recently discovered Rachel Ray’s Yum-o! Family Cookbook and just had to try her Bottom-of-the Box Breakfast Sundae. All we had was Trix yogurt instead of vanilla yogurt (yes, I’m a bad mommy!), and it turned out just as tasty. We used Rice Krispies cereal and they loved cutting up the strawberries and layering everything.

1/2 cup berries of your choice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup cereal such as cornflakes, Cheerios, etc.

Layer the ingredients into a glass or parfait dish beginning with the berries, yogurt, then the cereal. Repeat two more times to finish with a layer of cereal on top. Serves 1.

  1. Yummy! So fun and I know how proud kids are to “make” something. Great Idea.
