Cinnamon Apple Muffins – recipe courtesy of My Punchbowl
1 ยฝ cups flour
1 ยฝ tsps baking powder
ยพ cup sugar
1ยฝ tsps baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
ยฝ cup of whole milk
1/3 cup of melted butter
1 egg
1 cup peeled, cored and diced Granny Smith apples
1 cup cinnamon chips
muffin or cupcake liners

1. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon together in a medium-sized bowl.

2. Mix the milk, butter, egg, apples and cinnamon chips together, then add to the flour mixture, stirring until smooth.

3. Fill each muffin liner about 2/3 full, then bake in a 365 degree oven for about 20 minutes.

4. Allow the muffins to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving them.
