Tuesday Tip – Back To School Bella Cupcake Couture Blog Party + $377 Baking Giveaway
This challenge was a little different. We received plain white cupcake wrappers and paper straws to make our own pieces of art and display the creations. It’s a partay-partay so check out everyone else’s posts for more fabulous cupcake creativity…
Hang on…this is another long post but worth it for the fabulous giveaway at the end of the tunnel!
My niece and nephews were visiting so we got them in on the fun! I asked the kids to create a wrapper and decorate their cupcake based on their favorite moment of their summer. Plus, I asked them 3 questions and their answers are below their cupcake:
1. What is your favorite cupcake flavor?
2. What has been your favorite moment of the summer?
3. What are you most looking forward to when you go back to school?
The boy’s cupcake
1. Salted caramel
2. Fishing and camping
3. Seeing all my friends again
This one was my favorite and not just because it’s my son’s…I love his wrapper’s design. You can’t see it, but on one side, has his brother making s’mores. So, of course we had to make a little campfire with paper straws and paper.
The little one’s cupcake
1. Chocolate
2. Going to the beach
3. Going to PE
In case you missed it, those are Swedish fish swimming in the frosting. That’s what he wanted to represent the beach. He wanted shark Gummis but for the life of me, I couldn’t find them anywhere! Do they not make them anymore?
Nephew M’s cupcake
1. Chocolate
2. Swimming at the lake
3. Seeing friends
Niece B’s cupcake
1. Lemon
2. Going to Silverwood Theme Park
3. Seeing friends
Yes, I totally thought about Six Flags when we were thinking about topper ideas…so I made a few with straws and washi tape. I love my niece’s artwork too…those are roller coaster tracks going all the way around.
Aren’t blank wrappers awesome? They are perfect at a cupcake decorating party or any party, really. You know I’m all about keeping those little fingers busy. Of course, I love the idea for the big kids too. How about a contest for the most fabulous cupcake around? Sequins, twine, buttons, stickers…the possibilities are endless.
Sorry, those of you coming from the real foodie blogs…no recipes here. We are box-mix folks around these parts. But I will say the Betty Crocker Hershey’s Milk Chocolate cupcake mix was delicious! You add a center of fudgy goo and the whole she-bang with chocolate frosting was chocolatey awesomeness!
Feeling inspired? You can order your own Bella Cupcake Couture white cupcake wrappers and paper straws. If you do…send me a picture of your creations, I would love to share with everyone.
Sorry…off on another tangent…back to the blog party!

I absolutely love the ideas that all the kids came up with. The campfire is my favorite!
I literally said "O.M.G.!!!" when I saw the little campfire on top of the cupcake wrapper design. It was so adorable. I love it! Looks like the creative gene doesn't fall too far from the tree. Thanks again for participating.
These are so creative. I am LOVING that campfire cupcake. Since that's as close to the outdoors as I'll get, it's perfect. ๐
All such creative wrappers. I love kids' imaginations. What fun you had to many to work with. Also you gotta love a kid who says "salted caramel" is his favorite. Sophisticated!
