May The Fourth Be With You + Free Comic Book Day
Next to Pi Day, the 2nd geek high holy day is this Sunday, May The Fourth Be With You. For the uninitiated, it’s a pun on the phrase from Star Wars ‘May the force be with you’. So let’s celebrate all things Star Wars!
As if this weekend couldn’t get anymore awesomely geekier, Saturday is Free Comic Book Day. This annual event is always the first Saturday of May where comic book stores nationwide pass out free comics and may have other events like book signing and comic writer guest appearances. Check out this video with our version of Hugh Hefner, the awesome Stan Lee talking all about it and find a store participating in your area.
