Macaron Week – Gourmet French Macarons Book Giveaway
Winner update 9/14/13: Thanks so much to everyone that entered! And the lucky winner (listed on the Rafflecopter widget) is entry #44 Charlotte B
Today is the finale of Macaron Week! We shared a exclusive recipe from Mindy Cone’s new book, checked out a few new ways to use macarons and discovered fun macaron crafts and I’m thrilled to be able to give one of my readers a copy of said book!
If you don’t know who Mindy is, (and I’m sure you do if you follow me…) she’s an entertaining, food, and party stylist at her blog Creative Juice. With all her tutorials, recipes, and ideas to make your next event detailed, personalized, and of course creative, the natural step would be to write a book! And not only write it, but did all the photographs as well.
Traditional macarons are round, but as you can see from the book’s cover, Mindy has taken a unique and creative spin on the classic French sweet.
With over 75 unique and creative recipes, techniques, styling ideas, templates, and decorating tips to help you create delicious AND adorable macarons for any holiday, season, or life celebration.
Her book is filled with gorgeous pictures, which is what I’m all about. I may not actually make anything out of it (‘cuz y’all know I can’t bake) but I sit and pour over the pages for hours.
The book comes with a CD that has printable templates to make piping circles or unique shapes so much easier. You can make apples, pumpkins, ghosts, trees, flowers, animals, cupcakes, and many other shapes to fit each season, holiday, or life celebration. You know you want to make these Frankenrons. See what I did there?
Are you excited? Of course you are, so enter below on Rafflecopter and be sure to read the terms and conditions!
