Fiesta Friday – The Original Supernanny!
Yesterday was the 45th anniversary of Disney’s Mary Poppins, thus the perfect occasion to highlight a few spoonfuls of amazing parties and treats from around the blogosphere.
Thrown for a four-year-old, Romanza Events created a perfect tea-party, complete with soda jerks, a chimney sweep, maids in mop hats and aprons, and parasols as decor. The young guests made kites and and stuffed teddy bears, a nod to the year the toy was introduced, 1907, and the setting of the story.

Another fab tea-party from Donna at Party Wishes, complete with dress-up and stuffing penguins, thus making me want to run out and get myself preggers on the off-chance that I a. have a girl and b. she likes tea parties.
A beautiful and inspiring cake from a Disney board and too clever cupcakes from Flickr user Sarahs999, which is why I’m so taking the fondant-decorating classes at Michael’s if it’s the last thing I do!

You are so sweet to post my Mary Poppins party. It turns out, tomorrow I will be meeting the "real" Mary Poppins! Julie Andrews is going to be a the Disneyland Hotel signing watercolors and I will be there with my daughter!
