How could I let Movember slip by without a post, especially since I have several scraggly bros out there participating? The tatas may have October, but November is all about the moustache (mustache if you’re nasty…)

What is Movember? During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. The funds raised are directed to programs run directly by Movember and their  men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

If you are looking for a few fun ideas, these are guaranteed to put a little hair on your lip…

If you want to class it up, attend a Gala Parté near you, going down the first weekend of December that celebrates the craft of growing a Mo and the ultimate accolade – Man of Movember!  I wish my guy could grow his facial hair out to participate (plus he gets even hotter) but alas, those pesky Marine Corps rules have him shaving it all every drill weekend.
