Drink of the Week – Golden Orange Sake-tini

This week’s Fiesta Friday will cover lots of great ideas for celebrating Chinese New Year. Toast the year with this appropriately auspicious drink, courtesy of Party Basics for New Nesters.

1/2 ounce orange-flavored vodka
1 ounce orange liqueur or Triple Sec
1/2 ounce sake
edible gold leaf
orange wedge

Chill a martini glass, then rub the rim of the glass with the orange wedge. Roll the sticky rim in the gold leaf to coat lightly. Pour vodka, Triple Sec and sake into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake, strain, then pour into the martini glass.
