Hello, my name is Dawn and I am a sports mom. Fall means cross country, winter is basketball and swimming, spring isย soccer and track. If you have been following me for awhile, you knowย hubby and I are on theย hamster wheel of driving kids to practices, meets and games. Keeping the kids well-fed after practice is a priority, especially when it’s your turn to bring the team snack.
Withย 7 grams of protein, noย high fructose corn syrup andย 12 grams of whole grain, Welch’s Graham Slam! PB&J makes a great option for on-the-go snacking. ย Pair them with other items and it becomes aย filling snack to fuel our busy lives, both for my kids and as a team snack. ย Plus, I’m going to show you how to print your own designs onto paper bags so you can present your team snacks in style.

Welch’s Graham Slam! PB&J takes a new spin on a different PB&J, with real peanut butter and jelly sandwiched between crackers that are surprisingly crispy. ย You can eat them frozen or toss into a sports bag and eat when they thaw.

Yup, that is real peanut butter and grape jelly!

- As aย good source of protein, pair them with a dairy and/or fruit or veggies and a drink!
- For even more fun, write on mandarin oranges with a permanent marker each team member’s name or draw your team’s mascot!
- Package veggies for dipping by adding them to a 9 oz cup and finish off with a dip cup of dressing. ย I find my cups and lids at my local restaurant supply store.

Now that you know what you are bringing for snack, let’s finish it off in a fun paper bag! Have you ever tried to print your own custom design onto brown paper bags? ย It isn’t as hard as it sounds…I’ll show you how to make you the awesome team mom.
I used non-gusseted (flat) bags…but it works just as well with lunch bags that are gusseted (have the flap that opens them wider)!

- Measure the length and width of your bag.
- Open a new document in a photo editing program; I used Illustrator but you can do this in Word.
- Createย a rectangle the length and width of your bag and type ‘top’ near the top of your rectangle.
- Print out a sheet, then adhere the bag to the paper at the top and bottom, centering in the rectangle, the top of the bag at the top. If your bag is gusseted, tape across the flap as well.
- Create your artwork, text, upload your team logo, etc. and place where desired in the rectangle in your editing program.
- This may take a little trial and error…my printer didn’t require I change the settings for the thickness of the paper since my bag is non-gusseted. You will have to for a gusseted bag.
- Place it in your printer, top side down, and hit print.
- Note: if you doย use a gusseted bag, keep your text/design above the flap or it won’t print well.

You can find Welch’s Graham Slam! in the frozen section, right next to other PB&J items, at your local Walmart. ย Need another reason to score on a box or two? This coupon is for $1.00 off (1) Box of Welch’s Graham Slam! Expires 12/31/16 or while supplies last. Customers have 2 weeks from the day they print to redeem it.

I hope you have been inspired to step up your team snack game! Do you have any great snack tips? Share the love, we could all use the help.

I don’t know why I never thought of printing on brown bags! Such a cute idea, and perfect for teams or for a birthday party.
Thanks so much, Stacey!! I’ve always wanted to, but my old printer couldn’t do it! Then I got a new one…
