Hello, Fall! Camp Out Dessert Table

My contribution is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors even more with a Camp Out Dessert Table!  I’m more about glamping than camping so any way to cute up the great outdoors is up my alley!

I know, when you think camping and s’mores, you think of summer!  Instead, I think that enjoying a crisp, fall evening with s’mores, sweet snacks and warm beverages is even better!  Whether on its own as a party table or kicking off or ending a fall activity like a day at the pumpkin patch or corn maze, it is bound to be a crowd-pleaser!

I love pulling together various outdoorsy elements from around my home and stash for decorating.  I would suggest before you run out and purchase items, see what you already have! From pine cones and faux plants, to lanterns and blankets, use what you have on hand! Apothecary jars are great for home decor, but you can use them as food vessels as well!  My deer heads make their annual appearance during the Christmas holidays.

The chocolate acorns are so easy to make…use a dab of frosting or candy melt as glue on mini cookies and Hershey Kisses.

Offer guests a few warm beverage options like cocoa and hot cider.  If this is a grown-up affair, feel free to spike them or whip up your world famous toddy.  Be sure and have lots of mugs and cups on hand.  I know, the black ones are perfect and you want some.  Sadly, they are from Harlow & Grey and are no longer available.

Our table’s highlight? A gourmet s’mores bar! Invite guests to try fun options besides the classic combo. Check out my tips for putting one together!  From a variety of cookies, spreads and gourmet marshmallows, you can’t go wrong.
