BCA Wednesday – Party With a Cause

We lost our amazing friend Emily to breast cancer last year, and through her we met many other wonderful women like her in various stages from remission to stage 4. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and although the fight goes on every day for these and the thousands of others afflicted with this disease, there are alot of specials and events going on this month and every month I would like to let everyone be aware of. I’ll be dedicating every Wednesday this month as BCA Wednesday.

Throughout the year, various organizations have social events benefiting breast cancer research and support. Thinking about doing your own? It doesn’t have to be during October, you can theme it for anytime of the year. Check out some of these sites for inspiration.
Social Couture Party for a Cure

Over at Social Couture, they have created a Party For a Cure party package.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation hosts various Pink Party events all over the country where the likes of Sir Elton John and Gwyneth Paltrow come out. They have amazing pictures at their gallery.

Breast Cancer Support Services hosts Party in Pink where the money does not fund research; instead it will stay within the party’s area, in direct support of those who are living with breast cancer, and their families.
