Paper Easter Baskets Part Deux

Last year, I was obsessed with Damask Love’s gift box tutorial and turned them into a paper Easter basket. ย This year, I am still obsessed with them and took them to the next level.

If you are hosting a Easter party and will have a kids’ table, how cute would these themed Easter baskets be at each place setting? Just talk to each parent about their child’s current obsession and create a little basket for each.

Don’t fret…a quick trip to Party City or your favorite party supply store will have everything you need.

For example, if she is obsessed with all things My Little Pony, a rainbow themed basket made with a simple fringed crepe paper trim is perfect. ย Candy bracelets, mini suckers and pens and a little figurine will send her over the moon.
Soccer themed Easter paper basket ideas

For the soccer enthusiast, nothing beats a squeeze ball and themed candy nestled on a bed of green grass. ย Of course, you can swap out the colors for basketball, football, baseball, whatever! Do it in their favorite sports theme colors too.

TMNT Easter paper basket ideas

TMNT is so hot this year…trick out your basket to mimic their favorite turtle. ย This one is Raphael-themed; notice a little strip of cardstock across the bottom creates the perfect mask.

You can also dress them up for a grown-up function…fill them with adult goodies like mini bottles of alcohol, fancy candies, mini manicure kits and nail polish, the works! ย If you can’t get to them for Easter, don’t worry, they will work all year round for every occasion.

If you make your own versions, please let me know, I would love to see what you come up with!
