A Favorite Foods Party Inspiration Board
Happy National Junk Food Day! I know, it’s a thing! ย Since teenagers and junk food seem to go hand in hand, to celebrate, I thought it would be a great excuse to pull together a few ideas for a Favorite Foods Party. ย The mom in me can’t call it a Junk Food Party. ย This is perfect for those of you, like me, with teenagers where themed birthday parties are becoming harder and harder to talk them into, they seem to only want sleepovers and video game playing.

I know, that sounds so easy but if you are reading my blog, you know I can’t just put out a sheet cake and call it good. ย A Favorite Foods Party is a great excuse to dress up their favorite food for a party without the stress of a ‘theme’. ย While it is still a theme, don’t tell your kids that. Putting together a fun table, inspired by their favorite foods, sounds like a win-win! I’ve pulled together some great ideas to inspire you…

Cakes that look like pizza…

…and doughnuts from Studio DIY and Lulu the Baker, respectively.

How about a hot dog barย with lots of tasty toppings?

Adorable plushie stickers for decorating cups, favors and more from ban.do.

An entire popcorn party from the ladies of Bite Me More!

Love this circus animal marquee DIY from A Joyful Riot.

This pretzel backdrop from Oh Happy Day! is another fun DIY…

How fun is this ice cream newsprint gift wrap from Knot & Bow?

Target’s gummy bear pool float is a must for every summer party.

Make Bake Celebrate’s hamburger cookies are a fabulous dream…I love them so much!

For my son’s 16th birthday BBQ party at the park, ย I insisted that Iย trick out his birthday cake in all his favorite candy. ย It was so much fun to put together and it was a show-stopper.
