Spooky Cat Candy Bark
I love making candy bark. It is so easy to make, perfect for customization and just all around fun. So when I came across these Spooky Cat marshmallow Peeps, I knew what must be done for Halloween!
Halloween bark is a great treat when packaged up in a clear bag or box and my free printable! You only need a couple of ingredients and a little bit of hands-on time. And you can never go wrong with a good bark recipe because who doesn’t like chocolate mixed with marshmallows, candy and sprinkles?
I won’t reinvent the candy bark instructions wheel, (check out my version here) but I will break down what I have in mine…
Spooky Cat marshmallow Peeps (find in the seasonal section of any grocery or big box store)
Wilton orange, yellow and black candy melts
various sprinkles (find the ghost ones here)
Sweetworks Shimmer Silver Stars
Wilton candy eyeballs
clear pillow boxes from Oriental Trading

Place the Peeps and candy eyes in a row, so you can make cuts through the candy bark that will not cut through the Peeps.
I printed my tags on vellum paper, cut out with a little border showing and tied with bakers’ twine. To adhere them to the boxes, you will need to use adhesive spray or vellum adhesive; double side tape or other regular dry adhesive will show through the vellum.
Feel free to print the tags on cardstock for tags or use adhesive or print out on sticker paper to attach to the boxes.
Meow! Now go forth and candy bark conquer!
