Host a Spa Party at LUSH Cosmetics
Did you know that you can host a spa party at your local LUSH Cosmetics store? Pre-COVID, it was an option I was not aware of. After being on hold for 2 years, they are back in action! In fact, our party was the first party booked.
OK, let’s back up a little bit. Mine and my bestie’s birthdays are in May, and once I learned about in-store parties, it had to be done. Not only do I love LUSH products, but I’m always looking for new ways to party. Parties are $40/person, 1.5 hours long, with exclusive party goodies, and staff for games and activities tailored to you and your group.
Depending on your store, you can schedule before the store opens or towards the end of the day on a slow night. We chose the second option since we wanted to make a night of it with dinner before.
I created these cute candy favor boxes so we had something to nibble on during the spa portion. Although you can bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks, I decided to keep things easy to transport, since we had limited space. My boxes are from a local candy store; find similar ones here. With a little baker’s twine and cardstock, it is easy to dress the boxes up.
After dinner, we strolled over to LUSH to begin our wonderful evening! We tried out and kept a few items like shower jellies and the massage bars used for our hand massages.
The other birthday girl brought the evening’s drink, which I am going to call a LUSH Lady:
- 2 shots of lemonade
- 2 shots of pineapple juice
- 2 shots of Sprite
- Top with grenadine and garnish with candied ginger and an orange slice

The best part? The $40 cost goes back to each guest in the form of a gift card. We were able to shop the store afterward.
So, to recap, product sampling, massages, fun get-to-know-you games, exclusive products and take-home samples for our guests, three exclusive products wrapped in a Party Animal Knot-wrap for the birthday girls, and shopping? A great night indeed, and highly recommended if you live near a LUSH store. The staff was amazing and so full of energy, it made our time even more special.
