Dawn Smith is the creative director and founder of Revel and Glitter,  a creative lifestyle and entertaining blog started in 2008 and dedicated to the philosophy that every event is a celebration…and you don’t have to break the bank to do it!  With a focus on the easy DIY, whether it is a tasty cocktail recipe or home improvement project, it is a place for finding new tips and tricks on entertaining, event styling, crafts and lifestyle.

Known for its colorful and user-friendly style, Revel and Glitter has partnered with many companies and brands like Popsicle, Babiekins, SMASHMALLOW, Party City, Oriental Trading, Minted and more, to create and share unique ways to celebrate all types of occasions.

Dawn lives in Seattle as a mom to two wonderful young men, and a proud Marine Corps wife.  In her past life, she was a mathematics teacher, and still a bit of a geek.  As a child of the 80’s, there isn’t a pop culture reference that gets past her.  Combined with her love of sweets, you’ll also find geeky, 80’s related, or sweets-related posts….sorry.
