Back to School Fro-Yo Party
It’s that time of year…back to school! Which means we’ve hosted our annual end of summer party. Â Last year, we held it at our local fro-yo spot and decided to do it again.
I found this adorable bulldogs-in-glasses wrapping paper at Marshalls that inspired our tablescape! Â Just like last year, I kept the decor simple…in and out is always my motto for location parties! Honeycomb balls and apples, a few photo props and signs and our table comes together.
These adorable signs are great for inspiring our guests to remember to do each of them everyday…
This time around, I stepped up the sweet factor with Ring-Pops and soda…I know, so bad but so good! Â It is always fun to have a little special treat when getting friends together. Â Especially when they haven’t seen each other all summer. Â In fact, I’m glad we do still try; the older kids are driving and working and it’s getting harder and harder to pin them down.
Could this party be any easier? Everyone gets to fill a cup with fro-yo and as many toppings that won’t fall out. Â Leave it to my kids to find that threshold…there is fudge topping dripping down the side you can’t see.
No worries…I used a dry erase marker to write our message. Â FYI, it is really hard to write pretty on a curved surface. Much props to those who do, like calligraphy on globes
Such a great group that I enjoy watching grow up over the years!
Wishing you a wonderful start to the new school year!
