I love working with non-traditional colors when it comes to holidays, it gives everything a fresh look. I’m not one to follow color trends but I am loving Pantone Fashion Color report for fall with choices like Radiant Orchid, Misted Yellow and Cypress. So of course the wheels started turning and this week I’m sharing lots of Thanksgiving and fall decor ideas that think outside the orange and brown and inspired by the color report.
Deep shades of purple makes for fabulous fall décor and combined with colors like chartreuse, gold, copper and orange – you can create a gorgeous Thanksgiving table. Use it in small doses for maximum effect; a purple table runner, napkins, or purple veggies for the centerpiece. Mix purple tableware with napkins of different shade.
